Learning Guitar Made Easy – Interactive Software Review

Thursday, June 2nd, 2011

I’ve been playing guitar for several years, and I know how hard it can be when you are starting out. But learning guitar doesn’t have to be hard, actually its quiet easy, the key is to have the right material, not just random information picked up here and there. Let me show you a couple of things you need to keep in mind.

1) Free video tutorials won’t get you anywhere:

I’ve seen a lot of free lessons on the Internet, but most of the times they’re incomplete and poorly explained. Take You Tube for example, there you can find hundreds of videos for free, but that won’t give you a solid foundation. Random videos are pieces of information that won’t make sense if you don’t know the theory that explains why a particular song is played with certain chords. If you really want to learn guitar, picking up tricks here and there won’t help because you need a solid foundation on which you can put them.

2) Theory makes sense to every chord in every song you want to play:

When I started learning guitar, I wanted to start playing my favorite songs cutting down the theory and going straight to the chords of my song.

Well, it turned out that it was too hard and ended up dropping out. Theory makes sense to every chord in every song; after understanding the foundation I was reading chords and playing songs by ear with no problem!

3) You can become an advanced guitar player in less than a year:

Now I really believe this! It took my several years to learn guitar, but you can achieve it in less than one! I started my lessons in a church worship rehearsal, it was fun and all but it had its disadvantages. I couldn’t stop the class every time I had a question, I had to keep up with everyone else, and I had to adjust to the teacher’s schedule.

This made the process longer and boring. This is why I recommend a learning guitar software because you can pause it whenever you want, rewind and fast forward it at any time, adjust it to your schedule, use it as much as you want, and take it with you anywhere you go! This speeds up the process and makes it very easy for you. It’s also personalized and interactive, it has several tools, and it comes with audio and video.

If you want to learn guitar fast, then you should get a hold of the right software http://www.squidoo.com/bestlearningguitarsoftware Forget private lessons, they’re way too expensive and hard to adjust to. Learning guitar is easy with the proper software. See you guys!

Achievements Review – Texas Cheat ‘Em

Arcade Games

Awesome! I’ve got a pair of kings and I am completely sure my opponent is just holding a high card, probably an ace. I need a large bet here…he actually called and stayed in! Sucker. I’m sure he’s holding just a high card. Just the river card left now…great, an ace. Damn. Maybe he doesn’t have an ace after all. Maybe he had paired the jack on the board. Yeah, he’d be too stupid to stay in with just an ace before the river. I’ll just check. Let’s see what you want to do now, Mr. Bigshot. ALL IN?! I’m pot-committed, now. I have to call. You’ve got to be kidding me; he won with aces on the river.

I hate being beaten by lucky river cards. If only there was some way to cheat and not have the accompanying guilt. Well now you can, with “Texas Cheat ‘Em”!

In this Xbox Live Arcade game, cheating is the focus of the game. You can unlock up to fifteen different cheating abilities, including turning your 2/7 into a guaranteed win, or knowing the community cards in before they’re turned over (that means no more large bets with an unmatched ace on the river).

It’s awesome how downright dirty you can be in this game.

Players can unlock achievements for stealing another player’s chips, using x-ray vision on an opponents cards, or even having five of a kind (good luck explaining that one to the pit boss). For traditionalists, there’s the “You’re Missing The Point Here” achievement, for completing a straight or better without cheating. My favorite achievement is “Like a Bad Rash” that is earned by folding, then winning the hand by unfolding. Imagine the look on Phil Ivey’s face when you say fold, then just kidding. If you’re really bad at poker, you can always unlock the “Overkill” achievement by using five or more cheats in a single hand.

If anything, you’ll have fun imagining you have superpowers then taking out your opponents one by one. Come on, anyone who has played poker has thought about it. Now you get to do it!

“Texas Cheat ‘Em” has 12 achievements worth 200 gamerpoints and is available on the Xbox Live Arcade.

NEW CHANNEL: www.youtube.com Once again, you can relive some classic video games from the 1980′s with legos. (I didn’t include Mario or Donkey Kong because I have already made videos featuring them). If anyone wants to see another video…send me a MESSAGE with the game you want to see. This Video includes: 1. Dig Dug 2. Centipede 3. Pong (Yeah I know it’s 70′s) 4. Rally-X 5. Galaga I tried using a higher frame rate this time, and listened to suggestions from before. ALL of these videos were requested several times, so I decided to produce them. It took well over 1000 pictures and exactly 1395 Lego pieces to make. I hope you enjoy it…it was quite a pain to make…
