Successful sports investment has as much to do with money management as it does with handicapping sports. It is no exaggeration when PRO INFO SPORTS declares the following:

“A positive return on sports investing is just as dependent upon rational financial administration as it is upon sports handicapping acumen.”

In fact, the absence of sound money management or use of a flawed system can negate even a long-term advantage in any type of investing and result in a net loss.

Profitable money management via any potentially lucrative method requires discipline. It is critical to first establish available risk capital. This is the amount of money assigned for investing. It should never be from funds reserved for basic living expenses. It is money that if completely lost would not alter one’s standard of living.

Discipline is also required in sports gaming for investing the proper amount of each wager as determined by a sound strategy and not deviating from the game plan. For maximum financial rewards, a suitable fiscal plan must be precisely planned, followed and executed.

After a thorough analysis, PRO INFO SPORTS has developed their own unique powerful money management strategy. In much the same manner as they examine potential investment opportunities, they gathered pertinent information, computed and scrutinized the data, and have taken the most logical and lucrative position.

Just as their sports handicapping opinions and expert sports picks are often “contrarian”, meaning contrary to the prevailing “wisdom” of the public gambling on sports, their revolutionary money management system may be considered contrarian as well.

Of course, whether it is considered conventional or not has absolutely no bearing on its success. It is not based on emotions, biases, or misconceptions, but wholly upon cold, hard numbers.

Flat Sports Gambling Systems

Looking at specifics, there are myriad and conflicting opinions in the sports handicapping and investing industry regarding optimal wagering. Some sports handicappers to avoid endorse a flat sports gambling system wherein the same amount is wagered on each game throughout a season. Others advise wagering a set percentage of bankroll on each event. Differing perspectives on percentage investing include what the fixed percentage should be (ranging from 1 to 15%) and how often the bankroll percentage should be re-calculated.

While there is a measure of mathematical merit to some of these ideas, none solitarily go far enough in maximizing profits while also providing substantial downside risk protection. They are either too fiscally conservative, too risky, or in some cases even both.

To illustrate the latter, consider a flat amount bettor with a starting bankroll of 00 who decides to wager (2% of his starting bankroll) on each play through a season. If, due to poor sports handicapping and/or bad luck, his funds were to decline by 50% to 0, his next wager would constitute 4% of his bankroll. On the other hand, if he doubled his original bankroll to 00, his next wager would only be a capital risk of 1%. Flat sports gambling systems or any such schemes that result in incrementally higher-percentage wagers the more you lose and incrementally lower-percentage wagers the more you win, quickly compound losses and diminish gains.

Simply put, it’s a fiscal failure.

Percentage Sports Gambling Systems are the preferred method for professional sports handicappers and investors, and we’ll cover that in our next article – Sports Handicapping And Money Management – Part 2.

Sports Equipments – Learn About Useful Infos For You

I have always loved sports equipment. I like the odor of a new baseball mitt, the feel of new bat, and the stiffness of a new pair of soccer cleats. The sport doesn’t even matter that much. I like outdoor sporting equipment, hockey equipment – I have tried every sport I could try, and I like them all. There is nothing nicer than new gear and a good match between friends.

Most people fit into one of two categories regarding playing sports. They are either at sports or they’re not interested in sports. There are few people who are good at sports but not interested in them, and few people who are interested in sports but not good at them. I bucked the fashion. I like sport equipment because I like sports, But I am not better than mediocre at a single one. As a kid,I took martial arts classes, but could never get to black belt. I was in small league baseball, but I spent many hours on the bench. It doesn’t matter. I like collecting the sports equipment, to watch the games, and perhaps even be lucky enough to play.

These days, I don’t have as many chances to play sports games as I used to. Many of my sports equipment is resting on outdoor shelving in my garage, collecting dust. Nonetheless, I still get to use some of the equipment sports every now and then. The outdoor sports equipment, in particular, has been getting use this spring. The weather has been wonderful, and it has been difficult to remain inside any more than I need to. I did a lot of mountain biking, hiking, and I even got to play a friendly game of soccer. It has been good to take out the old sports equipment and try it on again.

I always have to take a friend with me when I go to the equipment sports store. You see, my love of sports equipment makes it really hard for me to restrain my wallet. I come up with all sorts of different reasons for getting improbable gear. I bought a new sports radio the other day, for example, even though I don’t go jogging. I almost had to buy some hiking shoes that I saw even though my old ones still work pretty well. The only way to avoid making mistakes with my purchases is bringing along a friend with me when I go shopping.

How to Win When Betting on Sports

Article by Michael Keenan

There is little doubt that sports betting is taking over as the new number 1 in the betting product marketplace. Old favorites such as horse racing, are starting to rapidly lose their market share and a lot of racing industry pundits cannot figure out the reason why? The answer however is quite simple and here it is.

A horse race may consist of up-to 24 runners, with a stunning amount of different variables in place, making it actually quite hard in choosing a correct winning outcome and even after finding your best winning chance or a series of winning chances, there is still a lot which can go wrong. The most notable event, that can either go into your favor or against your favor, is simply the pace of the race itself. Pace/speed is an event which is extremely hard to predict for a horse race and the pace at which a race is run may involve fragments of time as small as 1000th of a second and these fragments can allow either a favorite to win or even that rank outsider, with no race form at all to win. A lot of people do not realize that every horse in a race has an equal chance, as soon as they are in the starting stalls. It does not matter if the horse is a 100 to 1-on favorite or the 500-1 rank outsider, every runner still has an equal chance. However once the race has started momentum, this is when time comes into play, deciding with every stride the actual possible outcome of the race, which makes racing in itself, the ultimate time game of chance.

In sports however, chance is only a very limited element. Statistics defined over a set period can be used through skill, to make a far more predictable correct event outcome, than could ever be achieved in a horse race or similar type event. Hence the reason sports betting is becoming the new wave of betting choice, for both amateur and professional bettors alike. Which would you rather a 24 horse race field or a sports game involving just 2 teams, the choice is really obvious in itself.

So how do you gain good value when betting on sports?

The win bet/match-line bet on sporting events, will at most-times provide an obvious betting choice for most and this type of betting choice requires no real skill at all. However because their is only 2 teams involved, the odds/price can be very low for both teams and/or extremely low for the most favored team.

The point-spread bet, spread or line bet as it is called in different countries, provides a handicap towards a favored team in a game, providing much a better payout value for choosing the correct betting outcome. This type of betting is one however, which does involve real skill, that is if you want to correctly choose a high percentage of winning outcomes, over multiple games, over an extended period of time.

Skill in point-spread betting involves a high degree of experience in many different areas, mathematics being just being one of these key areas. It is a simple fact that sportsbooks, bookmakers etc, are in business to make money and do you think that they would be in a position to take bets on a sporting event, if the odds/price were always in the public’s betting favor, absolutely not! Professional handicappers/sports bettors etc, have become an essential first port-of-call for many casual/amateur bettors, because they can provide a highly skilled sports betting choice, which should always put you in a winning point-spread betting situation, over an extended period of time.

In my next article I will be explaining the first key area in becoming an expert in the field of point-spread betting. Entitled: Mathematics in sports betting.
